Terms of Service

By adding Bonnie Blueto your Discord server or by using any of its commands and features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must remove the bot from your server and stop using it immediately.

These Terms apply to all users, server administrators, and any other parties who interact with Bonnie Blue. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Bonnie Blueis a Discord bot (“Service”) that provides features including but not limited to: moderation tools, music playback, games, server statistics, and custom commands. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Bonnie Blue, consistent with Discord's Terms of Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are a server administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that your server members comply with these Terms.

You agree to use Bonnie Blue only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any individual or group.
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or any other harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the bot or its underlying code.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Service for any purpose.
• Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Use the Service to distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the bot's systems or infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person, entity, or Discord bot, including Bonnie Blue itself.

If you add Bonnie Blue to a Discord server you administer, you take on responsibility for ensuring the bot is used appropriately within that server. Specifically, you agree to:

• Configure the bot in a manner that complies with these Terms and Discord's guidelines.
• Ensure that the bot is not used to facilitate harassment, illegal activity, or abuse of any kind.
• Take appropriate action if you become aware of misuse of the bot within your server, including removing the bot if necessary.

All intellectual property rights in and to Bonnie Blue, including its name, code, design, branding, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to the developers of Bonnie Blue. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.

You retain ownership of any content you submit or transmit through Bonnie Blue (e.g. command inputs, messages processed by the bot). By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process and store that content solely to the extent necessary to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you input, and you agree that such content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to Bonnie Blue at any time for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by removing Bonnie Blue from your Discord server.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPERS OF BONNIE BLUE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) £50 GBP.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We may also notify users through the bot or other channels. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
