Bonnie Blue(“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Discord bot. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Bonnie Bluebot (“Service”).

We collect minimal data required to operate the Service. This may include:

• Discord User IDs — to associate your preferences, settings, or command history with your account.
• Discord Server (Guild) IDs — to store per-server configuration such as custom prefixes, enabled modules, and moderation settings.
• Discord Channel IDs — to remember designated channels for specific features (e.g. welcome messages, log channels).
• Command usage data — anonymised logs of which commands are used, used only to improve the Service and diagnose errors.
• Message content (where required by a feature) — for example, auto-moderation filters temporarily process message content to check for violations. We do not permanently store message content.

We do not collect passwords, email addresses, payment information, or any sensitive personal data.

We use the data we collect solely to:

• Operate and improve the Service.
• Personalise the experience for your server (e.g. saved settings and preferences).
• Debug errors and monitor uptime and reliability.
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent misuse.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

We retain server configuration data for as long as Bonnie Blue remains in your server. If you remove the bot, your server data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

User-specific data (e.g. preferences or economy balances) is retained as long as you interact with the bot on a server where it is present. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics are not subject to a deletion timeline.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We may use third-party infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, databases) to run the Service. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request (e.g. a court order or government authority).
• Protection of rights: We may share information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bonnie Blue, its users, or the public.

Bonnie Blue interacts with Discord's platform and its APIs. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Discord's data practices.

Certain features (e.g. music playback) may integrate with third-party platforms. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including encrypted connections, restricted access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, please contact us at support@bonnieblue.app with the subject line “Data Request” and include your Discord User ID.

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated through the bot or our support server. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
